Ah... You can imagine the weight of somebody shrunk through a math formula. Remember we have 3 dimensions so if someone 70" tall goes down to 1/4th of previous size, about 17.5 inches:
180 pounds div by 4 div by 4 div by 4= ...a little less than three pounds..and with arms, legs, feet and hands smaller than kids might have at that size.
His hands might be only one tenth of his height, so less than 2 inches long. I get a kick out of a video on youtube of 41" comic Imaan Hadchiti. (Proportional dwarf). Someone shakes his hand and his hand is about the size of the other guy's palm.
I'm doing that all the time, especially with the slow shrink stories. If one of the kids picks up the "shrinkee," I have to make sure the person is light enough at that point for it to happen, or if they're light enough to be picked up with one hand. Sometimes, I compare the weights of objects to the subject which forces me to do the math to see what the object's weight is in relation...
